On October 17, 2014 a bone sample was taken from the broken eges of the fractured area of the skull (parietal bone) by Noreen Tuross, Landon T. Clay Professor of Scientific Archaeology Harvard University (Access to the Collection form DOM-14-0006). She grinded bone from the inside of the skull, with a circuit board drill, leaving no noticeable marks on the outside. The samples will be used in C14 dating and diet data.
