The mosaic was found in a courtyard in the House of Menander, placed in front of a fountain. Framed by a wavy ribbon between two plain white borders, three erotes are fishing among an assortment of sea life. The erotes at the sides stand on land while the third, in the middle distance, is seated in a boat.
